I've been making my list and checking it twice.
And it is much bigger than my budget.
So it was time to get creative.
I decided to make these fun coasters.
It is just rough bath tile. Stamped with a permanent ink called Stayzon. This will keep the design from washing away when the cups sweat.
Then add a few bumper pads to protect the table.
The possibilities are endless. A name. A monogram. A verse.
I'm thinking teachers, sunday school teachers, family, friends. Yes, the list is long, but in one afternoon, I knocked out 8 sets of 4 coasters.
Thanks for sharing this awesome idea!!! I love it!

Thank YOU sweet friend!! They are beautiful, but not as beautiful as the sweet heart the Lord gave you- thank you for the beautiful gift and the letter that made me tear up! I am thankful for you!!

I love this idea! I was thinking the same thing. I bought my stamps the other day (1/2 off at Hobby Lobby!) But I really like the look of yours too. Where did you get them? And the Stayzon too? I appreciate your help. I am new to stamping, but thought these would be a wonderful gift & inexpensive also.

ReplyDeleteSo now I know what my Close To My Heart stamps were used for! And even my idea got hijacked! But for a really good purpose & for my favorite gal. They turned out so cute! A gift anyone would love to receive.

you are so creative and the Lord has blessed you with that--to still be thoughtful in a time of economic challenge. who would not like to get these pretty coasters. did you have to seal them after you stamped them? Miss Dixie
ReplyDeleteI bought a couple of stamps at HL yesterday 50% off to do a few more. This will be several gifts for me too. Jackie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI love these and have tried making several of them. Pretty easy. Did you srpay yours with a protective coating of lacquer?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Andrea
I did not lacquer them... the Stayz-on seems to be enough
