My ever-so-talented hubby made this sign out of leftover prepainted wood and a piece of galvanized flashing. Total cost for a new sign: $0
In my previous post, I eluded to this little stool:
I found this diamond in the rough at a yard sale for $2. Such great potential! My first plan was to paint it a fun color like lime green, turquoise, or melon. But the practical side won over and I chose to spray paint it black.

Now it is the perfect mate to my new (old) wicker chair
I love sprinkling my home with favorite pictures and little quotes, because they are:
1.) free
2.)easy to change with the seasons
3.) personal
Enjoy your day!
I love that idea of framing little quotes and placing them around the house! Now I know what to do with all those smaller frames I have leftover... And they will make great "space holders" on the wall within my other photo displays.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the GREAT ideas...
Your back door area is indeed welcoming and so charming. Love the sign. Your chair and stool are just perfect too. Your home is so warm, inviting and lovely. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteFun! I was over at our friend Amy P's house and we were talking about sewing - Did you sew your pillow or are you a stitch-witchery kind of girl?

I've never used Stitch Witchery, CPQ, but I was really wanting a bottle of it this afternoon when I hand stitched a cover for a seat cushion... never again!
ReplyDeleteYour back door is one of my favorite to go through :) Love all the people that live inside!
