One Last Hoorah

We celebrated fall with one last hoorah this weekend. We took advantage of the mild weather and invited our Sunday school class over for a chicken pickin.'
Hubby did his thang and fired up THE grill. Those are 1/2 chickens sizzling over the flames. Since I had a big event at church that morning, I took the easy way out and provided drinks.
And napkins.
My friend Leslie found this cute paper table cloth on clearance and gave it to me saying, "I know you'll use it for something." Thanks, friend, it went perfect with the fall theme.

Nothing says fall more than a bonfire. The kids did s'mores and the grown-ups warmed themselves by the fire.
I got to hang out with old and new friends...

and talk blog-speak with Sus and Suz.
Happy Fall!!!

If I didn't love my LIFE class so much, I would so totally be in yours!

Glad you survived your weekend..heard your seminar was super cool!

What a fab time! Thanks for the photos. And WHAT a grill! That's not really a grill...it's more of an Iron Chef Experience or something.

Note to self: When going to another blogger's event, dress cutely.

Had a blast, even though I looked tragic.

Not to self....that black vest and black sweater I am wearing DOES not look cute together like I thought it did!

CPQ - you did NOT look tragic!

What a fun night! Tell the girls I owe them one for watching out for my kids so much.

Everybody looks like they are having a blast...and your timing was perfect...now you can have an Ark building!
