Break Time

My kid's spring break started today.
Two weeks of family time, no homework, relaxation and sleeping in.
To ensure the sleeping in part for me, the kids woke up to this:

Since it has been raining for 4 days straight we had to get creative:
HOURS of entertainment!

One of my favorite aspects of break: pajamas 24/7

It's also break time for me.  Guess what I'll be doing?
Oh, yes, and of course this:
Enjoy your day!

Love it! Somedays I wish my kids were old enough to get up in the morning and let me sleep. Love the tent in the house!!

Cute post! Loved the donut idea! I may just try out the tent on a rainy day too.

This is such a sweet, happy, warm-fuzzy post! It's nice to know that the tent works, even as they get older. Books - what are they? :-)

i just love how much you love to be with your kids. i feel like i'm the only mom not complaining when it is a snow day. i'm the mom that's always sad when the breaks are over...even summer break. i cried as i was registering my son to be 6 yr old son for all day summer camp. where did all the time go? you are a very sweet memory.
i have read a couple of the books you have picked out. i really enjoyed them. happy spring break!!

Oh, what fun! I have to giggle at your note doling out the number of doughnuts. I remember having to do that, too. Enjoy your children...they are a heritage of the Lord and they grow up and are gone way too fast. But then there are the wonderful grandies! Woohoo! Linda

How come this JUST popped up in my google reader? I'm having issues.

Lovely donuts - I would never dream of allowing unfettered access to powdered sugar. And your kids obviously have more self-discipline than mine.

Have fun this weekend!
