We are celebrating a week of conversation here at N.E.M. If you've just joined us you might want to click here to catch up. Yesterday you had the chance to ask me some questions (which I am still sorting through and promise to answer this week).
Remember, it's really hard to have a one sided conversation, although I have had several in my lifetime, ugh. So here are my questions for you today, as random as they may seem:
#1. How old were you when you had your 1st child?
#2. What is your least favorite household chore?
#3. Boot, heels, or clogs?
Don't be shy. I want to know!

Oh. Fun. I like to talk. :)
#1. I had just turned 23 when I had Keaton. Thought I was so grown up. I was a baby having a baby.
#2. Least favorite chore? All of the above. But if you are making me choose....if I never had to dust a picture frame or a table top again, it would be too soon.
#3. Yes.
Haven't had a child yet, although I turn 23 this month and hope to have my first when I'm 23. We'll see what God thinks =)
My least favorite household chore is putting away clean laundry. I don't mind doing laundry, I love folding it, I just hate putting it away!
And I'm a clogs girl. Definitely not heels (haven't worn a pair in months!), I love boots in the winter, but overall it's clogs!
1) 30
2) emptying the dishwasher
3) boots
Great questions!
#1 I was 29, when I had our first daughter, such a blessing after 8 years of marriage. We had two more girls after that (I was 31 and 35)
#2 I tend to leave my bedroom for last, I can always close the door!
#3 I really prefer to be barefoot or wear flip flops. Perhaps I should live somewhere else rather then Canada! A bit too cold for either right now! I guess clogs is about the closest answer.
Thanks! Have a great day!
Okay...I have been a stalker long enough. I just love reading your blog and others, but have never commented.
1. 32 for my 1st (and only so far).
2. I truly love to clean if I have the time; I just love the results. But my least favorite chore is folding clothes and a close runner-up is emptying the dishwasher.
3. Clogs for sure!

1. I was 28 when I had the twins.
2. I hate to iron.
3. Probably clogs since 99% of the time I live in Birkenstocks. LOL :)
Fun week, Mrs. NEM!
1) I was 26 when my first child was born.
2) My least favorite household chore is cleaning the shower...and unfortunately, it shows.
3) none of the above! I am a sneaker girl.
OK, here goes!
1. I was 25 with my first.
2. Least favorite chore: putting laundry away.
3. Clogs. All the way!
1. I was 26 with my first child.
2. I absolutely detest taking out the trash.
3. I'm going to say heels, although cloggs are the only thing that fit my fat preggo feet at the moment :)

bathrooms
clogs (as long as they're not in the bathroom!)
1. I was 29 when I had my first, second, and third.
2. I will do anything to avoid cleaning a bathroom.
3. I feel kickiest in boots, but I wear clogs a lot (mainly because they require little effort)
1) I was a month shy of turning 21 when my first was born. Yes, I was young, but I like to think that I was mature for my age.
2)I honestly don't mind most housework, but mopping is my worst enemy. The problem is, a clean kitchen floor is the one thing I must have done for me to feel like my house is clean.
2) I *heart* boots, with or without heels, but I wear clogs a lot too. Anything but tennis shoes. I only wear them to work out.
Hi friend!
1. I was 24.
2. Hmm... bathrooms and floors
3. clogs!
Looking forward to seeing you guys tomorrow!
Erin
1. I was 24 with my first child.
2. Honestly, I can’t stand any of them, but my least favorite would be laundry.
3. Boots. I love heels, but I’m taller than my husband without them and would be a giant if I put them on and we were standing side by side.
#1. 25 (as you know...)
#2. ironing... but since I never do any, I guess that wouldn't count. Cleaning out & organizing because I am so bad about it (tackling it today!)
#2. clogs (love the look of heels, but can't wear them), boots when I can
#1 22
#2 this was a hard one, i like chores. Windows.
#3Chunky heels. Unless it's summer then it's flip flops.
What about you?
What a fun post.
1. Yikes I was only 19.
2. Laundry
3. sorry but I'd rather wear flats or sneakers.
I turned 31 the month before my oldest was born.
I'm with HJ & Heather. I don't mind the washing, drying, or folding, but I hate to put clean clothes away. I'm also not good with paper clutter.
Heels are pretty, but I can't walk in them. I don't think I have any clogs, so I guess my default answer is boots.
1. I was 19 when my first was born. (long story, we'll save that for another day!) :)
2. I loathe putting away clean laundry. I don't really understand why!
3. It wasn't a choice, but I have to say flats. I wear them every day!
This question thing is so much fun!
Lets see...
1. 36 years old
2. unloading the dishwasher especially when there is a sink full of dirty dishes waiting to be loaded.
3. A few years ago, I would have said clogs but I have fallen in love with my cowboy boots. They are soooo comfortable.
1. I was 21 with my first.
2. Least favorite household chore: Dusting.
3. Heels.
This was Fun!

Least favorite chore....cleaning bathrooms or cleaning out the fridge.....they tie for first.

3. clogs!
I'm 36 and don't have any kids.
I hate cleaning the shower. I also hate putting laundry away.
Clogs.
1. I was 25 when I had my first child.
2. My least favorite household chore is cleaning the bathroom!
3. Since I am always on my feet, I prefer to wear flats.
I have to say that I feel today's questions were a bit one-sided since I am sure there are other men besides me that read your blog. But then again, maybe not. I have been told several times I'm not the average guy. Nevertheless, I will attempt to answer today's questions...
1) Haven't had one yet
2) I really don't like to vacuum.
3) Oh the agony of having to decide this one...but in the end, I have to choose Skechers! ;-)
#1 : 29, then 30, 33, & 36
#2 : detest cleaning the bathroom..especially the shower. (so much so that I have asked my hubby to do it from now on..I tried to explain to him that since I was now in my 40's I didn't think I should have to do that gross job anymore..I'm not sure it worked.)
#3 : by clogs, if you mean slide on shoes, then I'm your girl...otherwise, tennis shoes.
Fun stuff!
1. 29
2. Unloading the dishwasher
3. Clogs

1. I was just one month shy of 24 when I had my son, Josiah. He will be 2 years old tomorrow. We also just welcomed our second son, Elijah in October. We are so immeasurably blessed.
2. All, haha. Really though, I will do laundry, but I hate to fold it.
3. Tennis shoes.
1. I was 27 when my first son was born.
2. My least favorite chore is cleaning bathrooms. Yucky but necessary.
3. clogs or sandals, never heels. Comfort is most important. Also, my husband is only a few inches taller than me and I don't want to be taller than he is. =)
Hey!
#1: 28
#2: Mopping
#3: None - love my flip flops, if it's cold then tennis shoes
#1. 21
#2. Bathrooms :(
#3. Boots with heals

LAUNDRY
clogs or cowgirl boots
1. I was just a couple weeks short of turning 28 when I had Ella. She is our little miracle baby (In-vitro baby)!!
2. Hmmm...it's a toss up between folding clothes or cleaning bathrooms. My favorite thing to do is mop.!! If you are thinking that is SO WEIRD...you're right!
3. Hands down, I'm a boots girl in the winter...not cowboy boots, but knee high boots.
But, I LOVE ME some FLIP-FLOPS in the summer. JCrew always has the best flip flops!
1. 18 with my first - 29 with my second.
2. Putting away laundry
3. Flip Flops
Hey! I'm just catching up this week. :) Couldn't think of an original question for you, but can't wait to see how you answer all of the brilliant ones listed.
1. 27 with D; 29 with J.
2. Abhor anything to do with groceries, from cleaning out the refrigerator to unloading from the car to pantry and fridge. Seems undending. Of course, I am grateful for our abundance of food, though.
3. Lurve pretty shoes of any kind, so I suppose all. However, day to day I'd be in some sort of slip on loafer or clog b/c I don't like socks. ;)
