2. Fatteningly glad that the weekend included crepes. Twice.
3. Oh-so-glad that my brother is getting married in less than two weeks to the girl of his dreams.
4. Glad that my bridesmaid dress and the girls' junior dresses are ready at the tailor. Not so glad that the alterations will cost almost half of the dresses. But we'll keep things happy here today...
5. Glad beyond words for air conditioning. I do not like NC summers. Period. If I were "independently wealthy" I'd be living in Maine for the summer. Since I am neither independent, nor wealthy, I'll just be thankful for a.c. :)
6. Glad that the long weekend took us to one of the "Top 10 McDonalds in the World" according to the Food Network. It is at the Biltmore Village in Asheville, NC. Yes, it was pretty amazing; complete with a baby grand piano and a stone fireplace.
7. Glad for the ability to request/browse my local public library online.
8. Glad Target has a coffee bar and that I got to grocery shop alone last night. Thanks, mom!
9. Very glad to be back on my healthy eating plan after falling off the wagon for the whole. long. weekend.
10. Extra glad that my sweet man works so hard to provide for his family.
What are you glad for today?

Hi Gretchen,
I've been visiting you for a while, and I don't remember how I found you! I have not commented before, but I just have to tell you that I enjoy coming here. It's like a breath of fresh air.
I've taken a break from blogging, so if you visit me, I will not have blogged since May 29th. I had surgery June 1st, and have not had the motivation to blog these days.
Anyway, we are in NC, and the NC mountains are a favorite place for us to visit, too. I also homeschool our youngest (almost 15).
Just wanted to say "Hi".
Blessings,
Karen
I am glad my room is ready and I can relax one more evening before the chaos begins. :)
Glad you had a great time in the mountains!! I made some more cherry conserve this weekend. LOL :)
I'm glad for Nutella which is wonderful in crepes.
Ahem.
I'm glad the bonus room is finally done! And I'm glad that I can "borrow" your sweet young'uns for my playmates while you grocery shop. I love you!
I've been following your blog for a while and love it. I can't even remember how I found you. I'm not sure I've ever commented, but when I saw the McDonalds, I knew I had to.
We live about 45 minutes from Asheville. That Mickey D's is something else! Asheville is a wonderful city. I adore living in the NC mountains!
Jennifer
I'm glad that I am spending this quiet Saturday morning getting caught up on blog reading while sipping my second cup of hot delicious coffee!
Also, glad that you mentioned crepes and CPQ mentioned Nutella...I love both, but never had them together!
